Recording during circus stay

In summer there was a cirucs (the things with animals) in our city. They built their tents, compounds, carvans and all her stuff in front of my house on a empty parking space. The stayed there for on week. During the week I recognized that they bulit like a circle around out of caravans around the cricus tent. Also I saw a lot couples and beautiful people who belongs to the circus.
One evening a worked around the cricle and put on USB recorder under one caravn. Unfortunately, I didn't catched anything. In this carvan was living alone one italian guy. In another carvan I saw one guy watching really oud porn movies:

I think a cirucs is a really good plaace to catching sexsounds. There you have a lot of people from different countries, all ages and I think these people are more open-minded.
Also carvan have thin walls and can produce a good catch.
Next summer I will try aganin.

In this case, how can I protected my USB recorder from rain?

With low end stick recorders going for under $10 US, I am not sure I would worry too much about it getting wet. If it does get wet you can dab up as much of the water as you can, than put it in a jar with a few silica gel packets, or if you don't have a stash of them, some white rice with a paper towel over it. Pop the lid on tight and let it sit for a few days.

One other thing you may want to consider is buying some little Neodymium disk magnets. They are amazingly strong. If you epoxy one onto the back of a little USB recorder you will be able to stick it onto any ferrous metal surface. You might get lucky and find a window frame with a steel casing or even a piece of steel hardware you could stick it to.

Another thing is these circus people are extroverted performers and they're usually in great physical condition. The combination of those two things could make for an incredible capture.
