I had to travel to a city called Mérida, in western Spain, where a very important international theater festival (classical theater) was being held. For this event, hotels were fully booked, and I hadn't planned ahead, so I had to stay in a budget hotel. This wasn't a problem for me since I was only staying one night.

I returned to the hotel very late (it might have been 3 a.m.) with no other intention than to rest and recharge before heading back to my city the next day.

But the couple in the next room seemed to be "celebrating," which I had to record.

Unfortunately, I didn't get a good look at the couple, but I'd guess they were around 30-35 years old.

Thanks, Pixorro. I honestly had some reasonable doubts about the length of the footage (almost two hours is a long time, too long, probably), but on the other hand, I also thought that editing the footage itself would diminish the scene and the action, even with the silences. I believe, and I'm a big proponent of, showing the environment as a whole, whatever it may be, to give the action a sense of realism.

That's why I'm absolutely reluctant to edit audio because it loses its "essence." Comments that seem insignificant, conversations that initially appear trivial, create a complete picture that allows (in my opinion) you to "visualize" what's happening on the other end.
