There's not much difference between them, really, in terms of sound quality, so it isn't worth
paying too much money for them, especially if you're using them for outdoor recordings,
which will reduce their lifespans, anyway. You're always gonna get 'hiss' in humid conditions.

I've done all kinds. Probably the most craziest I've done was when I was lying face down on a rise,
a few feet above the roof of a car, inside of which a young couple were going at it (and outside of it too).
I had to keep completely still the whole time they were there, because they would have spotted me
had I raised my chin an inch off the dusty/stoney surface - that's how close I was. The insects were
crawling all over me - particularly those nasty little red/black-coloured bugs.

UK car sex: couple's quickie on a cold Christmas Eve night (Site 1)

Nothing special at all about this one because the moans are few and faint. But the fact that they (and others on the night)
showed up at all surprised me, considering how cold and windy it was. This was also the first Christmas Eve/Day outdoor
capture I've ever done, which I suspect could be because all the entertainment venues this year are closed (due to the
'lockdowns').

The couple arrived shortly after 8pm and stayed for just under 35 minutes. Their voices sound a bit familiar, so I
think it's quite likely that they're regular visitors to Site 1, but I doubt I've caught any sounds from them worth
uploading before. The car parked closest to the opposite edge of the car park relative to the hotspot, which was a bit
muddy due to recent heavy rainfall.

I have uploaded their entire stay as captured by two devices (USB1 and USB2). The files are of equal duration and
I've synchronised them as best as possible (the phase difference is no more than a second).

USB1 was the main hotspot device located several feet behind the rear of the car.
USB2 was hidden close to the front of the car.

The strange thing is that the furthest device, USB1, picked up her moans a lot better than USB2 did. (Her sex sounds are
barely audible in the USB2 file.) Of course, this was because they were having sex in the back of the car, but also probably
to do with the direction the wind was blowing on the night.

The reason I've included the USB2 file is because it recorded their chatter pretty clearly while they had the doors open,
and there are also some vibrational sounds in it as well.


Main points in USB1:

8:18 - vibrational sounds start

9:34-9:49 - moans

11:09 - moans

12:00 - vibrational sounds

12:58 - moan

13:50 - sharp moan


Main points in USB2:

Some arrival chatter from 1:50 to 2:50:

HER: "you know what I'm paranoid about?"
HIM: "what, some [...] flasher comes along?" (sounds like)

Then:

HER: "oh!...oh, it's all wet!...puddles!"

Then some vibrational sounds after 8:45 and after 12:00.

Then some pre-departure chatter from 27:20 till the end. You hear some zipping sounds, then he
says, "it's fucking freezing, babe!" before she steps out to give him an affectionate kiss.

Recording date: 24 December 2020.

UK car sex: young couple on a windy Tuesday night (Site 1)

The weather has started to warm up again following the recent spell of subzero temperatures, but wind speeds on
Tuesday night were into the double figures, so my first capture of 2021 is not a good one, unfortunately.

I'm not sure exactly what time the young couple in this recording arrived, because there were a few cars coming
and going on the night, and the wind noises made matters even more confusing. However, I do know that they stayed
for at least an hour and a half, and they left the site at around 11:40pm.

I have uploaded the best two recordings as captured by the two hotspot devices, USB1 and USB2. The recordings
are identical in size and duration.

The sex sounds in the secondary hotspot device's recording, USB2, are lower in intensity but there is less wind
noise.

Below are the points in the primary hotspot device's recording (USB1) where the sex sounds can be heard. If you didn't
hear anything because of the wind noise, then try listening to the USB2 recording - but add on about 2 seconds. (The
compression process during conversion into mp3 has the effect of making the recordings slightly out of sync.)

0:04, 1:38, 2:07, 3:05, 4:28, 8:03, 8:20-8:37 (she's getting pounded hard here ),
14:23, 25:39, 26:03, 26:10, 28:20, 29:21-29:41.

The recordings finish when the vehicle's engine is switched on.

I need tips for where to do this in my area of the UK (not south). Can't wait for things to get warmer and warmer so I can have some outdoor fun and catch others too.

I might be wrong, but I think these are sort of beauty spots/picnic areas with car parks. Often in wooded areas. No doubt sndprv will clarify this.

^That's correct, yes. What I do to identify/locate these places is to buy good, old-fashioned
paper maps, like A-Z maps, or even Ordnance Survey maps, which have a lot of detail.
You can view some detailed maps online for free covering certain areas of the UK.

(Map reading is a dying skill nowadays, because nearly everyone owns a smartphone and
is relying on Google Maps, which may show a lot of detail for built-up urban areas, but
is next to useless for remote areas and the countryside.)

The next step is to go and investigate the area to see what sort of rubbish visitors are leaving
behind - look on the ground for wet wipes, tissues, used condoms, etc.
