In place to buy USB audio recorders in Kyoto ?

I’m in Kyoto for a week and I forgot my usb recorder, the hotel I’m in atm have some insane potential- but I only have my iPhone to record and it will be pretty impossible to do so as I’m travelling with a friend - so sitting outside trying to record sounds with my iPhone will be sus as fuck.
I know it’s a long shot but does anyone know if a place that sells discrete recorders in Kyoto ?
If not, I would love to hear some methods to record with my iPhone without raising any suspicion (leaving him outside the room on recording mode is probably not the way to do it I guess).
