i am looking for a cell phone which records audio in mp3. so far i had only mobile phones which recorded in wav or mp4. i want to skip converting the sessions everytime into mp3.

Maybe there is a app in the android shop called "Google Play".
You can take a look at "Voice Record" or "All That Recorder" and so on.
So you don't have to buy the phone first.

thanks, i have already got an answer from a big mobile phone company which stated that there is no cell phone - at leat in their sortiment - which records audio memo in mp3, but that it is possible only via third-party-apps. so i have to go that route...
