The 8th Man has dissappeared
http://www.hm.com has been closed after a long absence of postings, the last one being in late november 2006.
Does anyone have any idea what has happened to this site or the owner , 8th Man?

Wow, I had not noticed that either, thanks for the heads-up. I sure hope nothing has happened to him in the course of trying to get recordings, some of the means he used to get stuff seemed awfully risky to me, so hope things are ok with him.
Yeah eitghman, if you're around definitely do drop us a note here.

If the hidden mic has dissappeared into web oblivion, I have kept all of the archives that I downloaded, nearly 500 odd files. Let me know if you need them to keep them archived.

Thanks for that offer, PetaJ. I´d say let´s wait a while to see what happens. Hope there will be a sign of life from Eightman soon.

The actual site is no longer there, which suggests that he's really disappeared or had to go underground for a while.

Nope have not heard a thing. I hope the guy is alright, I always thought his method of recording was pretty high risk even though the results were often great. I sure wouldn't have the balls to try anything like that.
Anyhow I do fortunately have some of his stuff but I am sure others have more complete copies of his recordings.

As I have lost my rather complete collection of his sounds due to a hardware crash some time ago, I´d love to see some of his motelsex sounds posted here by someone else.
Please have a look at the file list before so we don´t have dublettes.

Hey Yeppie, ok I will grab the latest files list and post anything that is not there sometime soon provided of course I have anything that is not there already. As I said I have a few of his posts but not a huge amount, I know that you had way more of them than I ever had.

as far as I know some of his recordings were pretty risky and maybe illegal.
