This is a series of stories where the sex nearly happened but then nothing comes to fruition or you kmow swx is happening but its so quiet its barely audible and you can hear something but the mic never picks it up

Since i can't sleep i m going to share one i recently.

It was an english guy and girl. It was obvious they had met the same night. He was tall and she was short and decent looking. Both mid 20ishv. heard them come in and i knew something would happen so i got myself ready.

Outside their room i could here chatter and talking. Then some making out. Some slapping. I couldnt believe my luck i was about to get something. I can hear them intensely making out and slapping each other. You could hear them crash against the walls. I was expecting a fuck a thon. I heard them reach done and tear a condom. Oh boy this is it.

But then I heard "oh shit" and they started talking. I was like huh what just happened. Confused by the chatter i moved away but remained optimistic. I didnt want to get caught or just looking out of place

Then repeat. Some moans. Some making out. They were really about to go and reach for the condom... Nothing talking again. This got annoying. It was 5am and i was tired but i stood determined hoping.

Repeat again...

So what was wrong... My suspicions were then confirmed when he said "i think it was the shot you gave me."

Sigh

This was such a let down. So much risk but nothing came to it. I stood there was another 40 minutes or so. They probably wasted at least 4 more condoms. There were some moans and "you pussy is so wet" but just no fucking. No cunninlingus either. Just heavy making out.

I thought fuck it. Its time for bed

Anyone experience anything similar or frustrating

great idea physicist to bring also those quite dissapointing events to the attention of the community that did not made it to a successful recording...

I know this situation also quite well, one has spend a few hours checking what`s going on, and at the end some very unwanted event destroys everything...

I can contribute the following happenings preventing my success... or let`s call it:

The 11 reasons why sexsound recordings can likely fail...

1) The couple was simply too silent to be recorded.
There were some situations where I knew very well from the moaning and e.g. the way to the toilet afterwards that they had sex, but no chance for a successful recording... Sometimes even worse, I had listened clear and loud moans during the recording, but the wind channel between the end of the door and the floor was too drafty and created some side noise which covered all of the useful sounds. This happended to me several times, especially if the actors had the window open during their encounter (e.g. one of my Henrike recordings suffered from that...luckily I got another one here viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4913). In another situation, I could even see the student couple having sex through a small space in their curtains, but despite they made the music more silent (!) before they started, the recording was empty, and I could just listen that she was requesting to get an orgasm next time.

2) The batteries are running out of power, or for whatever reason the recording does not work.
Happened to me several times as well, very dissapointing was a recording of the student couple I posted this contribution from:
viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4690. I learned from their conversation that they were obviously meeting every monday evening to have sex - especially SHE was eager to get it regularly and not one day later or so), and with this knowledge in mind I knew what to do the week after...
The situation began very promising, they were watching TV (Stefan Raab, a german comedy series), but she was obviously too hot and aroused to wait for the end of the session, and animated him to have sex right now... I remember very well how he mentioned they would then have to switch the TV off because otherwise he would have to laugh So they did, and she was moaning quite loudly and sweetly this time (without a phone interruption).

I was feeling like a king until I noticed that my recorder did not do anything... Later, I had a regular appointment myself and could not look for a recording, and afterwards they separated, also not great conditions with them for a good catch.

3) Boy comes too fast
I was observing a student couple that was just returning from some drinks (she was a law student), both went along the hallway to her flat and disappeared. I noticed that it became quite silent in their flat (no talking is a good sighn that they are cuddling and making around, if they do not sleep) and was waiting for more. I heared silent moans, started recording but this did not seem to be the real event. After some minutes I heared him urgently jumping out of the bed to get rid of the condom, and she was loudly loughing: "So schnell bin ich nicht..." (I am not so fast...).
No chance for me to record anything useful stuff.

4) Girl rejects in the last moments to want to have sex.
This happened actually only twice to me, the couple was cuddling and making around, and in the very last moments she refused penetration.

5) Too many places to observe.
Here I identified two promising hot spots, a student of science history had a new girl friend of which I knew, and a maths student had her boyfriend for a visit over the weekend. I was observing both, continouosly chnging both places when I became aware of the expected mons fro the flat of the science history boy... Started to record, but not too much promising action afterwards. When I returned to the mathematician girl I noticed from their moaning that they were finished right now and he had just ejaculated into her, so also nothing to be recorded...

6) The couple starts to argue, and no chance for sex.
Happened to me quite often, too many cases to tell more details.

7) Someone is walking around and perturbing the recording.
Same as 6, happens very often, and it is difficult to find a workaround...

8 ) Phone calls at the wrong moment.
This also happened sometimes to me, see link above. Especially in the time where I did not had the idea to record sounds, I had this several times as well. I remember very well a nice blonde tall girl who had a new boyfriend, the were just freshly together and she did not want to have sex with him yet. So it was clear that there will be some manual action but she had obviously a problem several times to relax when he stimulated her, so everything remained with some moans of her. At one Friday evening she was obviously more relaxed and was close to her relief, I rould really listen how she was climbing up the last mountain to her climax, and just in this moment (it was half past 11 pm or so) the phone started to ring. She told him to go to the phone to find out who was phoning at this unpleasant time, but it was too late. Afterwards she mentioned to him (in German) "Shit, shit... such a bad time management... just two seconds I and would have come. But what should I have said to the phoner? "You have stolen my orgasm??"

9) The bed is not sufficiently robust.
Once my direct neighbours were just at it and I started recording, but the one of the bed bars bursted, and they stopped the game without continuing somehow...

10) A neighbour close-by is having a loud conversation.
Very unpleasent event, if the neighbour of the intended main actor has a loud (phone) conversation...

11) The music prevents identification of any sexsound.
This I had once and I am still trying to separate the moaning from the music that they obviously had switched on intentionally to cover their moaning, and the music was some african style sound about an hour or so (in repetition mode) with a lot of Ahhhs and moanings in the music, so it was almost impossible to assign the sounds...

But, as you know, at the end of the day, luckily there are also some successful moanings that I managed to get...

I have another one to add to the list: too risky...

I recall a story when in heard a couple into their room. I was standing at a distance and I wanted to identify the room. Problem was that the floor plan was horrible and the corridor at the other side was a dead end. So I wait near to the other side in case I someone came out and I had to leave so I couldn't be seen. I have already been spotted a few times and people thought what was I doing so I didn't want to take this risk.

So i wanted and I waited. Soon I could heard undressing, the unmistakable sound of a clanging jeans belt being taken off. So far I don't know which room they are in but its obvious. Then someone comes out and i had to move away. I go back and wait and it happens again. Then I could hear some gentle pecking and maybe some making out...

Oh wow this is getting exciting, I dare not move I thought... its too risky.

The making out starts to get hotter and more intense. This is awesome I think to myself, if only i knew how they looked like but i'd be risking a lot trying to spot them. And I still didn't know what room they were in. Fuck come on start having sex already

And then I heard the faintest moan. Wow this is it. And a little moan and a little moan. It was so obvious they were going at it. Probably in missionary too. And then a heard a gentle but a louder moan. Then I decided to be a bit more bold and walk closer trying to figure out what room this was coming from. At last I did and you know what, it sucked? Their room was right at the end of the corridor with no access to move away if someone came out of their room and I had to go.

Luckily I got 30 seconds of good listen before he orgasmed. I knew they were doing missionary. Both were trying to keep quiet but the panting and the slapping was unmistakable and she sound hot whisper "oh fuck me baby" and "right there fuck". You could tell they were absolutely loving this. After that they got loud and her orgasm cam and then just after that he came too. Thats when I ran to the other side knowing couples usually might want to exit their room to wash up. This is 3 am and they might go to sleep but you never know. I go lucky with the listen since there were 6 rooms ahead of that room but no one came out, otherwise it was just too risky.

Then I stood there and I think I could heard them talk and make out but no round too. This seemed like pre bed sex where you do enough to get to sleep

After that I left knowing no more would happen. 30 seconds worth of sex waiting 45 minutes.

Would have been amazing if I had better logistics but yeah lets add "bad room placement for listening" to that list. If you had this room it would be awesome but to hear someone is just too risky

Yes, this situation I know quite well, too. Had a similar case in a youth hostel in february... I spotted a german couple who even prepared a "Please do not disturb" sign with a heart on it on toilet paper (because there were no official ones). They were loughing and giggling a lot, and at about 10 pm they wanted to go to bed, and I was expecting the things to come with some excitement

Unfortunately, in this hostel there was that much traffic on the floor (because most rooms did not have own rest rooms but public ones on the floor as usual in hostels) and so I decided that it was a bit too hot to wait even longer in front of their door, especially, when I noticed a lot of noise of drunken people in the neighbouring room, that would hav edestroyed the recoding to certain extent anyway...). But sometimes I strongly regret that I did not stay there longer...

It was a dormitory with a similar setting. If the room was nearer to the safe part of the corridor I would have heard a good amount of it. But safety first, its just too risky. I don't like the feeling of being seen by someone.

And another: squeaky floorboards! There's action going on, you move carefully into position and then you hit that one floorboard that squeaks so loudly the whole floor can hear… including the couple you heard in the first place. And then they stop… Aaaaargh. So you try and get out without being heard and manage to hit every other squeaky floorboard instead.

Happened to me recently. Nice hotel - just hopeless for our purposes.

this is a good column, I had missed it. the floorboards thing is a devil. when I heard my very first moanings when I was a student, my friend and his girlfriend who had the room next to mine had both taken Viagra . they were usually fairly quiet and didn't have sex that often (they broke up later in the year) and one sunday morning at 9am I was awoken to the noisiest I ever heard her. sadly we didn't have recorders on our phones back then and nor did I think to anyway, but I did get out of bed, move to the wall and CREAK. happily It was not a fatal disruption and I went back to bed and timed myself to her and it took her several goes to get her orgasm. in a hotel, it can be more obvious and disruptive though around midnight when they think everyone has gone to sleep but there is seemingly a lurker...
