No chance yesterday

Last night I was at the hotel in Burgundy, and I did not hear anything.
Nevertheless, the small hotel in which I was present had all the ideal features
No cameras
thin walls
Dark corridors ...
During my patrols between 10 pm and 1 am, I only heard televisions
I understood this morning at breakfast:
Only 6 consumers
2 single women (elderly)
A couple of pensioners
A 25 year old
And your servant!
I hope that next week will be more interesting, I go back to the first hotel, the one whose first file I sent you ...

Good luck, durandal. Hotels hosting weddings, conventions and parties usually make things "happen" later on, lol. There's nothing better than a partying woman being slowly driven crazy by another party guest.

I had the same situation Wednesday evening, stayed in a hotel and had to to some office work first. Afterwards I was lurking around spotting a quite young couple talking and laughing, and I thought to myself "Bingo"

Unfortunately, they were obviously just finished and I just heared him asking in German "What did you tell you parents you are doing tonight...?" and she mentioned "Told them I am visiting a girl friend...". Then they left, and he brought her to her car, I could even see them but they never came back that evening... I am 95 % sure they had sex before, but sometimes one is simply to late...

Oh that's frustrating. If you go into my archives there is Valentine and Valentine prelude recorded in Virginia Beach at a Ramada Inn. Serviceman from local air force Base and his girlfriend. And... Had a connecting door! So following year arranged to be back on Valentine's; registered well in advance; and called that AM for the same exact room as before. And arrived to find entire hotel was hosting an annual Shriners convention. So was chock full of 80+ yr old men.. and me.
Have never stayed there since. Level of betrayal is beyond forgiveness..

I find mid-week at almost any hotel (unless it's a holiday hotel, of course!) is very hit or miss. Usually there are a lot of singles staying - businessmen, reps, workmen on a job, etc. Best times are Friday and Saturday nights when the couples come out to play. Most of my catches are from Saturday nights and the occasional Friday.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them fuck

These nights are very frustrating but they make you appreciate the wins even more!

It's proper fucked up. This summer I've been on 2 holidays and went out armed with a handful of recorders most nights. In daytime keeping an eye out on where the couples were going and came back with basically nothing! Yeah, being tired of all the late nights and early rises..

Tell me about it. I'm going through a dry-spell, too. Must be the time of year. Nothing much from any of the last four hotel stays.

Next week, i have to go to Paris, in a 5 stars hotel, near the Vendôme Place.
I have read on Tripadvisor, that this place is not really good for the quiet.
Old hôtel, thin walls... I hope i can find the sounds we love.
I've got my USB recorder and my Nokia

Sometimes it might be worth seeking a known "love hotel" for this purpose. You can sometimes pay by the hour.

I totally relate to your frustrations. There have been many nights when I've had a barren time searching through corridors, only to then see lovey dovey, touchy feely couples at breakfast the next morning. A couple of techniques might help:
1. Have a walk around the corridor in the early evening before dinner time. You often hear couples talking quite loudly at this time after they have arrived at their rooms. Make a note of the room number and come back later.
2. Many hotels have restaurants or bars that overlook the entrance and reception area. If so, then take a book or laptop down with you in the evening for an extended dinner. It's surprising how often you can see couples arriving in the early evening, so you can discretely follow them to see which room they go to. Again, make a note and head back down to finish your meal before returning.
Both of these methods have served me well over the years, maybe they'll work for you too?
Remember though, caution and discretion are vital, a new sound is not worth getting yourself caught for.

Hello,
You are right, Stanf, when I was in my favorite hotel, which has no restaurant, I have applied my usual tactics, which also seems to be the most logical:
- I arrived around 7 pm, took a reconnaissance tour on the floors, to see if I could hear any discussion sounds, lighted tvs and tried to see if the occupants were more or less young ...
This is an old hotel with 3 floors and only 20 rooms. The walls are thin, the doors too, and the beds very close, NO VIDEO-MONITORING.
- Eating early (around 7:45 pm, I watched how many windows were lit, first on my floor, then next to my room where I had heard a couple talking. job.
- I came back around 8.45pm from the restaurant and I turned everything off in MY room.
I dressed up for my patrols in the hallway (dark clothes, double socks and my USB recorder!)
- The reception is closed at 22:00, and the corridors are turned off! Ideal for patrolling, which I started to do from 10pm.
- I heard discussions, TV, and on my floor a couple of asians (men) who spoke very loud as always

-I was waiting for my neighbors to return, telling me it was my last chance to match that night.
- At 11:30 pm, I heard the door of the hotel sounds of laughter, a couple laughing ... it was they!
"They entered the room, and I was ready!"
My USB was also ready to record, they started kissing, laughing, then the girl said: "I'll take a shower, you'll wait, you'll take yours!
At that moment, lock noise while I was behind the door holding my USB ...
Panic, and run in the corridor! THEY WERE NOT IN THE SAME CHAMBER! And I did not know if he was going to go up or down or go to the same floor!
I made the choice to come down incurring, and he ... went up ... Tacchychardie ...
I waited wisely in the chamber listening to the sound of the water, waiting for his return to him, the locking of the room had to go back in the corridor to try to record the sequence of events ....
