m4a sound files

Hello! I have some great quality recordings on my android phone I'm considering to post. My software can edit and cut to under 64MB no problem but will the site accept m4a files just as they are if the post grabs the file from my phone when submitting or would i need to convert the file to a different format first ? I searched the faq but didn't find a direct answer. Thank you!

I think i may have found the answer in a different place right after posting this. If it's better for some reason to use something other than m4a i have vlc and dbpoweramp on my PC that i can convert to then mp3 if necessary

And good news for you: mp3 is preferred but m4a is also welcome. Please try to upload files up to 50mb because the server will probably reject bigger files due to internal restrictions.
