The house next door to me is multi-let and last September a girl moved into the back bedroom. I’ve only had a brief sighting of her, but from that I would say she’s about 18/19, medium height, quite slim and fairly attractive. I’ve only seen a brief glimpse of her boyfriend from the back and he looks to be quite big guy.

As the tenants cook in their rooms and maybe smoke, the windows are often open. A few weeks ago I tried for the first time this year and was amazed to catch a bit of action with her and the boyfriend.

I’ve tried most nights since with no luck, until a few days ago I got these brief sounds. They waited until the ‘Dawn Chorus’ had kicked in, so there is more background noise. I have put brief silent sections where I deleted parts of the track. Mostly loud sounds like passing planes that drowned out everything else.

Last time I was asked for a N.R. version so did a rough and ready one that some members preferred. I have done one this time, but hopefully it’s a bit more subtle. I did it by removing some mic noise first and then a little bit of ambient noise.

I would like at this point to assure gekko THAT NO EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL ABDUCTIONS OCCURRED IN THE MAKING OF THIS N.R.

I converted your files to MP3, because I know yeppie will.

Both are good, but I still like the unfiltered versions - while your NR is better than most, to me it still sounds unnatural.
Great couple - I hope this turns into a nice series. Let them know if they visit LA I will comp them a Saturday night room!

Thanks for the conversion and apologies for not doing it myself. Silly of me, but I was very tired and busy with other things when I did it. If I'm lucky enough to get more I'll make sure I don't forget next time.

How did you convert the wav's to mp3's? You did something I would have considered darn near impossible.

You took a 5.2 megabyte uncompressed wav file and turned it into a 8.79 meg mp3 with lossy compression. Ditto with the NR one.

The whole idea behind mp3's is for them to be smaller than the lossless versions.

I didn't do the conversion, as you can see from comments, I was remiss and forgot to. Voyeuristic was kind enough to do it and with the small file sizes it isn't a big deal that it's a bit bigger.

emmpet8, sorry, I know you did not do the conversion, I should have been more specific. It was more of a curiosity than a serious woman. I trly am curious how the compressed file got to be bigger than the raw one.

No need to apologise. Voyeuristic was doing a favour by converting to mp3 and saving Yeppie one more task. As I understand it, he didn't want to compromise quality, so probably saved at a very high bit rate.

It's my fault for forgetting to do that in the first place. If I'm lucky enough to get any more, I will make sure I create and mp3 in future. Just a silly oversight this time!
