I just read the lower description of that hourly hotel.
Did anyone ever stay there?

When it comes to hourly-rate hotels, very few are as heavy-handed with sexual overtones as the Liberty Inn. The experience starts with guests selecting their room type, checking in with the man behind bulletproof glass, and walking past the vending machine stocked with condoms and sex toys. It continues with the lewd in-room drink menu, six channels of free porn, romantic mood lighting, and provided "exercise pillows" to help guests...uh...work out. The hotel isn't nearly as flat-out dirty as one might expect, but it's hard to spend time there and leave without feeling slightly violated.

It's a pure 'walk-in' hotel (first-cum-first-served ), except if you want stay for the whole
weekend - only then do they take reservations.

Odd that, a hotel, in which the receptionist sits behind bullet-proof glass, also has a bar and 'room service'.

That's a vivid description and I can just visualize it. Just add the sound of taxi cabs honking their horns and the aroma of the NYC streets to the mix. I'm old enough to remember Times Square in the 1970's when it was a super-sleazy mixture of dirty bookstores, porno movie theaters, whore houses and camera stores. It was unreal.
