Very interesting experiment, so I used the bitter sweet symphony as the noise sample and applied it to about 1:30 - 5 minute marker, it didn't quite remove the song, definitely smoothed out the noise and lowered the volume. Thought I'd share. Do be careful, minute 5 and beyond, it gets to regular volume so headphone wearers beware.
