I finally got the chance to install an important software update for the forum today.

A few restrictions, hopefully only temporary, that result from this update:

Add-ons that have not been adapted to the updated software had to be deactivated. You will probably notice that the post-love (for your likes) add-on and the annual-stars add-on (showing your years of membership) don´t work at the moment.
I will check from time to time if an update for these add-ons is available.

Hi Yeppie,

are there any news on the deactivated add-ons?
I liked the "post-love" add-on. Would be nice to have it back or something similar.

I´d like this extension back, too. But I´m afraid nobody works on it anymore and I couldn´t find a similar one yet.

I don't know what software updates you installed, but I can see that "postlove" was updated in december 2019 to make it work with phpBB 3.3 which seems to be the latest version.

Yes, that would be the version we need. I tried to download it yesterday despite the problems that were described in the discussion board but it wasn't available, downloading did not work. Were you able to download?

Yes, I just tried. Go to https://github.com/satanasov/postlove and click the green "Clone or download" button, then select "Download Zip" to get all the files. Does that work for you?

That's what didn't work. Will try again though.

It worked right now! We´re probably going to see that extension again, soon.

Nice work yeppie! I'm glad to be of help.

I noticed a new function. You can now hover the mouse over the number next to the heart on the button and it will show which user who pressed it.

Another update of the forum software has just been installed. Hopefully all extensions will continue working. If you experience any problems that might be update related, please let me know.
One important function has been repaired by the recent update: You are able to delete PM´s in your private messages folder(s) now.
