Even so. It doesn't change what I said above. Many sites have shut down.
Soundgasm could shut down at any point. And links can individually be taken down. Many already have. Just posting links to the forum does not make a backup to the archive.
No you are right. Just posting links doesnt back it up on the archive and put Humpty Dumpty back on the wall again..but many links posted here were converted to mp3 / wav files in the early to middle ages here with lots of recents ones rendering the removal of
soundgasm sites having no effect on the backed up ones here. (i know as many others and myself too have converted them over the years from
soundgasm) ..of course you dont get every single post published on
soundgasm backed up here if it wasnt converted or linked up here but some backed up in the archives here is better than nothing.. not everyone has the time to document every single detail but through usernames at the end of the url normally members do remember some posts. I know what you are after and that to include every detail in but not every member is able to document everything ( i cant speak on every members documenting and record keeping skills nor does everyone have ocd) and even if they did you still cant always pinpoint to the exact file as sometimes some users have reused files from original uploaders and masquaraded as their own and tweaked the description out, at the end of the day the authenticity of some files on
soundgasm were questionanble, so dont get caught up in all the details. It is a hit or miss really in my opinion.
But on the flip side, i managed to recruit and induct some members from
soundgasm and brought em them over to here by spreading ssl's good name, so if theres some request post it under the "The sound they love to hear" tab and who knows, the original owner of the file may repost his stash on here from the foregone
soundgasm site ( as he would recognise and know his file best) as:
A) A lot of members on
soundgasm have accounts here too
And
B) Many members here have downloaded stuff from the old soundgasms site as well as many may have accounts here and there too though they may not have been the original contributor
So who knows slowly we may rebuild the lost
soundgasm site here again as you probably wouldve guessed it by now the latest
soundgasm sex sound "overheardsex3" thread also got taken down recently.
So its like the old file sharing app called Limewire once upon a time as long as the seed file can be shared again by the member or people who had that members file, more members can download and reshare..and from the ashes even extinct prehistoric sexsounds may be resurrected again..
