this thread reminded me of a plan i've been sitting on for a while:

I am, as many of you know, a humble jobless music student. This means I live in squala naturally, and seeing as I have no money to spend I also go halves with my flatmate/roomie on unnecessary luxuries... one of these is a cleaner each week.
The cleaner changes fairly regularly, but they're always girls, usually Polish, and almost always hot too. I have had the same thing happen. Your brain can morph his into breaths, it can morph compressors buzzing into vibrators.. Your brain can play all kinds of tricks on you. Too good I though, so I created a run with out any stimulus so the weak signal swimming in a sea of noise was not there to begin with... Just the sea of noise. Oddly enough the cyclic filter he was playing with got real good results with that too. Oops. Too bad there was no input to produce that output. The filter was getting tricked by the noise. So, it is not just your brain and ears that can fall prey to false impressions...

I did it too, I written that about 1 year ago.

My flat has 2 rooms and my downster neighbour rent for his flat to 2 couples, 1-1 in 1-1 room.
