And I think there was a report about 5 years ago, which said that about a third of American
women went on dates just to get free food, i.e. 'foodie calls'.

The average younger men are done. The top 10% chads will be fucking all the women while the rest of young men will quietly bow out of society outside of working and video games. There is going to be an epidemic of single women and mothers in the future. Of course they will it turn it into being all men's fault somehow and the government will find ways to further punish hard working men.
