The sound is really clear. Would you mind to share which USB recorder do you use? (by PM or quoting this message). I have a USB recorder and in any circunstances get that clear noise, my phone records way clear sounds.

I actually use some cheap USB recorders and I think the merit lies more in the thin walls of the hotel and that the recorder's hiding place is close to a happy room. The last recording is made with a Howabo 64Gb device, for less than 50 euros on the popular online shopping portal that we all know. I was especially interested in the fact that it is thin, so it is good for me to put it on top of decorative paintings in the hallways, for example.

Yes, I agree with the merit on the spot it self. Some USB recorders has gain configuration, which can be modified to capture better the nearby sounds and avoid farway noises. I'm still on the process to find the perfect combination on this configuration.

I will keep that decide in mind when I want to upgrade my setup. BTW, really funny the "popular online shopping portal"

Thank you, Take. I have seen your private message but for some reason I cannot reply to you. I prefer to keep the name of the hotel secret, for privacy reasons. I will tell you that it is cheap for the prices that are handled in Madrid, with an automated check-in system, with thin walls and no television in the rooms. Also, with the advantage that it does not have a shared bathroom. Ideal therefore for young couples or very short stays, because it does not have many amenities. I hope you understand that I prefer to maintain a certain privacy and I hope I have guided you in some way. Thank you for your comments!
