as audio voyeur, i'm always trying to get new files by
carrying a minidisc recorder with me while travelling.

i guess, the best chances to listen to couples having sex
are hotels.
do you have any experience concerning hotels?
what i need to know is - which kind of hotels are the
best? e.g. business vs. holiday hotels, cheap vs.
expensive hotels, city hotels or hotels in the countryside
and so on.

the problem with most of the hotels is, that if you try
to spy through the walls, you here the traffic on the
street, the elevators, the air conditioning which makes
it hard to concentrate on the sounds of lovemaking.
any hints? any experiences? perhaps adreses of hotels
where the walls are thin and the action is heavy?

if you can help, please let me know. i'd love to try
some hotels during summer and would share the results
here.
as i live in germany, adresses from german hotels would

First of all, you only just asked two days ago.
Sounds like plenty of time? Well, I'd be willing to bet that a large
majority of the members of this group are web only which greatly reduces th=

speed with which they would read the messages.
Then factor in whether or not they had time for a reply at that moment..
that is if they had a r . Do you really want nearly 700 responses of "I
dunno"? I never saw much point in filling up list member's mailboxes with
useless responses such as that.

And when it comes down to it, I'm quite sure that the majority of list
members are here because they don't know how or where to hear it live so
they come here to download what they need to satisfy their audioerotiphile
needs. ;c)

As for an answer, I think you have the right idea. Keeping a recording
device with you whenever possible is the key. You know it'll be that
one time you don't have it that you'll have the perfect opportunity. ;c)
I make my own files (as you know ;c) so I don't have any experience with
capturing others' fun. I do remember reading someone's experience once
where they would remove the cover from an electrical outlet and put the mic
in the resulting hole so that it was basically in the wall. Might be
something to that. YMMV.

you are right, two days are too short a time. but i was a bit frustrated
that
nothing seemed to happen. and not much happened until now.
i do for some communication, my aim is give and take. i tried things
before (my own website for example) and quit for the same reasons.

no, i don't want to read 700 answers saying nothing. but 2 or 3 messages
from all members over the year would be great. it could turn this group
into a communicating community and that would be great for every member.

I understand that it's frustrating when you're really looking forward to
input and no one seems to be giving any. Just wanted to point out that it
was very possible that many folks probably hadn't had a chance to even see
the post, yet so not to get too discouraged about it.
I also know what it's like to try and get a conversation going and not be
able to... I hope people will get things going here. I love to hear
from the audiophiles out there. Without feedback, people like you and me
probably wouldn't be nearly as interested in doing what we do, eh?

I think one of the main obstacles to getting this group chatting is that so
many of the members join just to download.
But, hey.. I'm here and I'll try to keep up with the group. And if you and
I and Al keep posting, maybe it'll encourage others to join in as well. :c=
)

YMMV stands for "Your Mileage May Vary". As in those car commercials where
they tell you the highest possible mileage in order to suck you into buying
their car but have to tag on the disclaimer so that when you don't get
anywhere near that you can't sue them. ;c) Of course, I say it here to

Here's my thoughts to yeppie's question.

I have found that Bed and Breakfasts are the best place to hear
others--and discovered that by accident. For those of you not in
the US, they are private homes, often large, old and ornate, that
rent rooms and serve breakfast. Because of the homes are
fundamentally romantic...you get auditory bliss. Depending on the
home, the walls may be thin. Some homes have jacuzzis, which adds
to the fun.

In those homes, the rooms are typically on the second floor. The
first floor is common areas. So, if you aren't next door, you can
go downstairs in the room below the active room. LOL...at one place
where breakfast was served individually, you can be eating breakfast
and have action above you.

If there is a common breakfast, then you get to see the people you
just hear. That may be good or bad, depending upon your preferences.

Weekends tend to be best, since popular homes are often full,
particularly in high season. They tend to be expensive, but often
not more than about 50% more than a similar hotel. I have found
that hotels, particularly newer ones, have better wall construction,
air conditioning in the walls, etc. and, if not full (which is most
of the time) you have less chance of having neighbors, and, even if
you do, they are more likely to be singles or families. I get lucky
in hotels maybe once in 6-8 stays. On one ocaision, it was in a
room with a connecting door (locked doors on both sides) which was
interesting since my side could be opened, leaving only a single
door. I could have recorded THAT one with a dictaphone. LOL

The other benefit is that the setting is wonderful for romance for
YOU, as well.

I have never recorded anything but have enjoyed listening. I would
but no idea how to record or what to use. If you bought equipment
to boost the signal, what kind of scrutiny would that get at
airports? What kind of mic should be used? If against the wall,
what kind of external barrier do you use to keep outside noise at a
minimum? I'm curious how people actually do this.

Well, first i wanna ask for excuses, as english is not my mother
languaje i'm very lazy to write or speak it, sorry, but i have a
similar experience to the yeppie one, i posted 3 own recorded files
to a sex forum waiting for responses and trying to create some kind
of group like this, i had 1890 downloads (and people is still
downloading) but neither uploadings nor answers. I think it was the
wrong site to try, but i'm trying to get files in my own languaje
since i have lots of files but always in english, german and one or
two in french.
I have recordings of couples i hotels, some of neighbors (specially
in summer apartments), some of guests in my home and some of me and my couple.
i cant avoid to say that i really enjoy with the girls orgasm moment,
in real life, video or audio, specially those hidden and natural
recordings of neighbors and guest.
u sually i travel with my mini-tape dictaphone, i have some
recordings trought the gap between the floor and the doors, and
throught opened windows in summer, i have not any good recording
though the walls, but i think a proper decice must exist (the secret
services uses it but could be expensive to buy one); other system i
have is composed of a baby-care transmiter, (without external box)
concealed in a little bedroom lamp (the ones you have near the bed, i
dont know the name in english) maybe bedlight? , the receptor
conected to the audio recorder or the video in LP mode give me up to
8 hours of sound recording, but some times the quality is not good
(many interferences and static).
For my own sex recordings or some situations of guests recording i
have used my dictaphone hidden under the bed or near the part of the
pillows, in Lp mode i have 60 minutes of recordings (it must be
switch on just before going to bed, and retired next morning at the
first opportunity, but is a bit risky) and sometimes the tape ended
before the sex...
Well, this is my contribution.

Now from there I have sorted out DC++ but what I cannot tell is if
you are sharing over the HCM hub - and if so we can only share when

Oh thanks i missed a d ......
Well, i am online as "bankito" all the time, since i keep the PC
switched on and online always. (well in fact i switch off for
maintenance three or four days a month) but others are sharing the
same files and its easy to find them using the DC++ search utility.

thank you, anonymous friend for your deatiled answer.

i will try bed & breakfast when i make it up to the US.

to your technical questions: most of the time i have a sony
minidisc recorder and a mic that was delivered with it with me.
it is no hi-tech mic but it works well for getting some action
recorded from room to room.
i also own a cheap through-the-wall-microphone but did not
have the opportunitiy to test it so far.

any hints are still welcome.

i'm no native english speaker either (german) so i do understand that
you are afraid of making mistakes. i know i do but your message is clear
and your english is as good as it should be to communicate
in this international group. thanks for taking part.
i guess your language is spanish (am i right?). as you, i prefer sound
files in my mother language of couples having sex, because for me,
this makes the sounds even more erotic. maybe we should have folders

would you describe these devices a little more? perhaps you could
send pictures of them or a website where they can be seen / bought.
would be of interest for many people i think.

i usually use my minidisc recorder (mostly hidden) or the video cam
(normally not hidden) for my own recordings. i just bought one of these
new usb sticks with built in mp3 player. as it got a recording function,
i will try to use this soon. it should work like a dictaphone, quality is
similar. it records up to 128mb as mp3 so that should be long enough
- over 2 hours of sex possible and i'm an old man with a weak heart
