Sounds good - will consider it. Or you can beat me to it and run a contest. This was fun.

Nice contest
Did you capture something with this particular setup? I wonder how the sound (pickup) quality was, as the recorder is quite far away from the doors. I mean according to the pictures the microphone was placed towards the ceiling so if the sounds from inside the rooms weren't very audible on the floor, I would guess the results might not be too good.

No,
This hotel was VERY dry and devoid of sounds. However. due to losing a number of USB devices, one of my favorite hiding places is on top of an alarm strobe light fixture - that is usually in arms length with a nice little shelf that conceals the mic from casual view. No, not as good as under door - but judge for yourself - go back to my Halloween B1 and B2 were made this way as was C1 from Nov 29. The latter was right beside the door; the former (B1/B2) was 2-3 doors down.

Re: Ok I have one..
Good news - this weekend wasn't the best, but I did manage to get one very decent door gap recording. File has been PM'd to the winner and in one week will be available at the Motel Sex Section in a new thread "Contest Winner"
