Do you mind sharing what type of recording device you used for the recording?

It was your average small USB audio recorder from Amazon. This one was billed as waterproof, which was somewhat true, as long as you didn't plug it in while wet. I generally shoot for ones that had a recording time greater than 24 hours, so I could be sure to get either 2 mornings and a night or two nights and a morning with a single placement. Having two to rotate let me keep surveillance up all the time.

Unfortunately, I didn't hear it live. I had a long-run recorder hidden in place. Being there outside the window would have been a hell of a rush though! I was certainly excited enough when I opened the file and saw the waveform. I knew that I had gold right away. It wasn't until a second listen that I realized how much.

Oh, what a pity. I thought you were listening while recording, that would be hilarious.

Interesting. My USB audio recorder doesn't record as clean as yours. I'm thinking to acquire another device in the near future.

In a word, absolutely yes.
To give a little more context, I first heard her moans in my house while doing other activities. Their house is across the street, one house over, and up a hill that requires about 25 stairs from street level. In one of my recordings of them, my wife and I heard them with their windows closed, and could clearly tell that it was sex sounds from our porch. Since this is both an open window situation, and a much louder incident, at the very least, the 5 nearest houses would hear it with their windows closed. It was fully unrestrained, and not even a passing thought was given to them being overheard. It is so hot.

Yeah, overhearing someone you have some connection with is always way hotter. There is something about the voice tipping over from mundane talking, to excited giggles, all the way to ecstacy that is just so engrossing.

Oh, I could have given you raws if you wanted to edit. I had worked the file over pretty good to make the dialogue more clear. You certainly have foregrounded the moans well! Let me know if you want raws to play with it again.

Sure! If something is good its better to work with raw. Start with high quality rec and in stereo if there are settings. The less intrusive noises there are near the recorder, the better the outcome for one to listen to. Set it, get away from it. Noises near the recorder will be louder than the subject matter being recorded I edit that out though it may contain sounds worth listening to unfortunately . That's the basic idea for all recording situations.

Absolutely great guidelines. I'm not certain that this was in stereo, I often will take a smaller file size vs stereo and higher bit rate because I often make 24 hour observations that I look through for the hot stuff. My recorder placement is about the best I can hope for near their bed without asking to borrow a house key. Unfortunately, it seems it neighborhood is under the path of planes going to it city's airport, we are in earshot of trains and barges as well as the normal city sounds. Oh, and a bird nests in the bush that I hide my recorder in, lol.
In any case, I will get you the raw .wav in the best quality I have when I am next at my computer.
