Trouble Finding Sounds

Hello everyone, I am currently in Italy for vacation and have just started searching for sounds for the first time 2 days ago. I am having some real difficulty finding anything and am wondering how unlucky/normal this may be (for context I started on Thursday and it is now Saturday night).

You can hear a lot of things since the hotel is poorly sound proofed but it's always just someone showering or random talking. It really gets my adrenaline rushing when I think I found something. But, like I said before, it just turns out to be someone yawning or something.

My real question is how should I go about this? Should I be listening for more rhythmic sounds, moaning, or something completely different. Just feeling a little defeated and like this is pointless. Any response would be helpful, thank you.

I will continue to be in Italy travelling to different hotels for about one week. If anyone has any tips or suggestions to add lmk. Also, I walked the halls until 2:30 but only heard snoring and regular conversation . Hopefully the next few hotels will have some results.

I have stayed in hotels quite a lot, but it is rare to strike lucky. Personally I don't go walking around. Yes you are more likely to catch someone, but I am risk adverse. So I just hope I have a room either side of me. That said I did catch a couple on the other side of the corridor.

That's definitely fair, my reasoning for even walking around is because there aren't any cameras. Also, I'm a younger dude so I'm pretty sure I look pretty unassuming. It's really a shame that it's so rare though, I figured there'd be plenty of people trying to get it on in Italy lol. Btw, I'm at the new hotel which also doesn't have cameras and isn't really sound proof so let's hope tonight is different

I GOT IT!!!! So I just so happened to see the couple in the adjacent room earlier and they seemed about in their 20s. I had hope that they could possibly do something and THEY DID! They started with audibly making out for like 10+ minutes which caught my attention. Then, I started to hear their moans and the rocking of their bed . It all seemed to happen so fast but just long enough for me to tell the other people in my room what was going on so they could hear too LOL. Anyway, I may have had the fastest nut in my life but god damn it was hot af, I'm still pretty shocked about it.

Of course, I recorded a bit but honestly I was so fucking scared that I stopped pretty early bc I thought they would come out their door . I'll be sure to upload it in a bit but I do honestly need to get some sleep so we'll see (btw this happened about 10-15 minutes ago).

The same thing just happened
After writing my message I just went on my phone and was trying to relax and calm down a bit but I thought I heard a super faint moaning/smacking sound, so I left my room and went down the hall a bit. It was fully another room going at it . I set my phone up the same as before but I'm ngl I was pretty tired already from the first one so the second one didn't hit me the same but still it was pretty crazy. I kept that one shorter because I was nervous again so I'm sorry to everyone who was really hoping to get a long audio.

Side note, I recorded both of those with the Samsung voice recorder app since I figured it would be good enough. Once I listened to the audio's it kinda sounded like there were a lot of spikes every time she moaned but the bed was kinda hard to hear so I'm sorry. Lmk if there's something I should do differently in case this happens again
