i use to carry two phones. and a towel. I would stand at the door pretending to listen to a phone call. while the other phone was on the ground near the door gap recording. i would then place a towel over it in case someone passed by and I had to leave in a hurry. that way the towel can conceal the phone and make it look like i was heading to the hotel gym.
