Air BnB in Angers (January 2026)
During a stay in Angers, France, I heard an interesting sound from the air vent.
You can hear background noise, but it's still audible.
I loved this moment!!

Re: Air BnB in Angers (January 2026)
Amazing upload!
I've probably mentioned this before, but I stayed in a hotel in the small town of Sitia, in
eastern Crete, back in July 2005.
The building had a narrow, vertical ventilation shaft, that was next to every bathroom of every
room, above and below my room. If you wanted to, you could throw a small piece of rubbish
into the shaft through the pivot window in the bathroom, and it would fall and hit the ground
floor. The shaft was sealed off at the very top, so it was almost completely dark.
The sounds I could hear during that one night I stayed in this hotel were unreal. Those moans
could have been coming from any one of those rooms next to the shaft - on any floor. And this
place wasn't even what I would call a "tourist hotspot".
