Midnight Rescue

I really thought that the night had passed without event. Then at Midnight I was lying on my bed about to nod off and I heard laughter coming down the corridor. I jumped up and looked through the door glass to see if they were coming my way. They were and into the room directly opposite they went. I waited a few minutes, opened my door as quietly as I could and bingo! That is until someone opened their door too.
