New at Yeppie's.... PIMP MY GEAR CONTEST !

So... here is the deal..

I bought 2 brand new Olympus voice recorders... and after buying them decided they are not what I needed... sooooo my loss is your gain. Rather then put them up on ebay or whatnot... I AM GIVING THEM AWAY!

In addition, I have also acquired some new electet miniature microphones which are verry handy for the audiovoyers looking to acquire new sounds and will throw one in for each of the voice recorders... FREE !

How do you enter the contest? Okay... here are the details:

1) You must be a newbie/lurker with no posts to be eligible to win the Voice Recorders.

2) You must state why you think you are deserving or need the equipment (tell me a story.. you have loud neighbors; are on frequent trips; it is difficult to get a decent recording with your current standard size cassette recorder, etc). You can make it funny, serious or anything inbetween.... just tell me something

3) The active members will vote on the nominees and the top 2 will receive Olympus Voice recorders with external minature microphones!

To make this deal even easier... I will even pay for shipping anywhere in the USA (how much can it be.. 3-5 bucks). Now many of you may ask WHY I am doing this... simple... to hopefully get more sounds posted on the board


As for the Active members.... here is what I have for you:

Well... when I bought my microphones I had to make a minimum purchase of $50, so... I had to buy 5 of them (and allready had 3)... so guess what... NOW I HAVE TOO MANY! What does this mean to you? Yes... you can win my extra microphones too I will be giving away 3 of them, and can custom design them for your specific use. Currently, I have 3 allready made with standard headphone-size jacks and 9v battery connectors with 4-10 foot cables on the microphone (meaning the recorder and battery will be 4-10 feet from the microphone. The 5 units I just bought I have not yet "performed surgery on" and can make to any specification you request (ie. mini jack for MP3 players, longer cords, etc).

Now, you get the same deal... tell me your story and the top 3 will get FREE microphones

Why I need this equipment.

I want to record my girlfriend and then let you all enjoy. In addition I live near college campus so hopefully I can find more to record.

Well... being as how you are the only entry so far... I will forgoe the 'formalities' of the contest and just send ya whatever you want.

Pick the length of microphone cable you prefer (between 4-12 ft) and type of recorder you like (either 16-hr non-usb or 8hr w/USB). Check online to see the specs for each recorder to ensure you select the one best suited for your uses.

Then, if you live in the US, PM your address to me and I will ship to you free of charge. If you are outside of the US... I will see how much shipping is, if it is not very expensive... I will pay for it.. if it is pricey, we will have to work something out for shipping. I would guess since all the equipment is lightweight, shipping probably will not be too much.

I have been member of this site for a while not very active, but I really enjoy te sounds of love, recently I see this post for the contest, I don't even know if still is active but here goes my history...


I live with my girlfriend in her house, recently the first floor was rented for a young couple, about 24-26 years old, they are brothers, he works in the afternoons, and guess what does his little sister while he is'nt at home?

she invites her boyfriend and have sex...

and guess again...

THEY ARE EXTREMELY LOUD,

For this first reason I would like to have one of this device I really need to record this and share it with you people!

2 reason, My girlfriend and I, lately we have been visiting motels again, and the chances I have lost for recording very hot and loud women are killing my head, I really, really need to colect this!

I live in Colombia (Bogota) and there are no many devices for this use, I mean, I can get a microphone but no good enough for hide it and get a good record,

Mark, I don't know if this would be a violation of your contest rules, but I would like to "nominate" AllisonFM for the gear.

1. She was a non-poster when this contest started.

2. She has only a crappy headset mic and GoldWave for recording her sounds.

3. She's an exhibitionist who loves to masturbate next to a live microphone.

4. She needs an additional microphone to record wet sounds from below while moaning into a microphone near her face.

6. She's a struggling student without a lot of money.
