Seriously!
If it's the Standard downtown, Hotel 60 Beverly Hills and places like that I ca do myself pretty easily. But lately have been staying via incentives at larger hotels and one person cannot cover 600-1000 rooms! Stayed at Courtyard by Marriott near the Staples Center and nice thing is you can ride to the top,, then downstairs at one end of corridor and walk to other end, and go down to lower floor and effectively zigzag your way down.
This took me 2 hours! Did two trips and know for sure I missed! Standard takes me 30-40 minutes depending. But there's the Queen Mary I haven't hit yet that is known for noisy couples but that is another gargantuan hotel.
Would love to get 2-3 others, split up and attack these some night, bet we could get outstanding results!

SSL meetups! There could be something there :p
That being said, you seem to have a point on larger hotels just having move odds especially in a busy city like LA. I don't know if any hotels in manhattan have the same 1000 room capacity. They are mostly highrise buildings.
This isn't like pokemon, you wanna catch em all but really can't
There is a lot I want to say here after what you said, but you do too much. relax! In a way, you could think walking around corridors for 2 hours is effectively exercises you don't get. Two birds with one recorder!

Re: Need a Los Angeles Chapter!!!
Yeah, I have taken a hiatus for nothing else than to pay down my credit cards.
The hotels I have been through recently are all covered by work or by cashing in points..
Don't mind the 2hr walk but in a manageable hotel it's nice because I hit the same areas 4-6 times in those 2 hrs. Spending same time going through once is a bit discouraging. Maybe next time I'll start at top, see how far I get in 30 minutes then just do that area over and over and just ignore the rest of the building.

Maybe if there is a SSL meetup for captures, we should wear spy headphones to and report if we see "Traffic"

Gekko why not do a little investigation of sex sounds at the Queen Mary cause I heard sometimes couples be having sex there even tho the ship is Haunted by Spirits.
