Welcome aboard dude, or dudette as you may be... i cant tell which?
Yep the majority of the UK contributions in the archives are from me thus far, although I'm always hoping i'll be kept company at some point.
Theres a couple of others that aren't my work floating around though, and i believe some of the neighborsex.net files that are yet to be posted were recorded in London, so keep an eye on that forum if the neighbours stuff floats your boat.
lookin forward to your material, giz a shout if you get stuck digitising them and we'll do our best to help.

One question, how do you tell the UK moans apart?

Let me know if there is any way I can help you with your posting efforts.

maybe i'm imagining it, but i've always found it fairly easy to tell them apart. Not so good with other nations, can usually pick out American French and German before they talk, and its never 100% accurate obviously, but I'd guess that a lot of folks pick out their native sounds.
Something to do with inflection and vowls and whatnot maybe?
Hell i'm not even sure i spelt vowl right, so i'm not exactly qualified to talk about this!

vowel - at least on this side of the pond
the curse of an English minor and don't even get me started on iambic pentameter and it's resurgence in post modern 'gansta' rap
I do sometimes wonder about language and translation - especially in this forum. I don't know any French (except fries, toast and kissing) .. for all I know some of the archive recording could have the girl moaning and telling the guy that they should paint the ceiling... beige.
Recall a story of a Hollywood safari movie. The hunters are in the jungle and run into trouble - they send a porter to the closest village, he runs for hours, stumbles into the chief's hut and proceeds (in Swahili) to tell the chief about the problem and request help. The writer/director contacted someone at UCLA and had them come in to write the dialog and coach the American actor on the pronuciation. In prodution they put the subtitles in for that scene.
The movie eventually hits the export market and a year or so later makes it to the African continent. It's a big hit - especially the comedy scene... seems the linguistics expert decided to have a bit of fun and all those who actually spoke Swahili instead of a plea for help heard the actor complain about not getting paid nearly enough to do all this running.
hmm - seemed like a funnier story when I started. Well, at least there wasn't a pun at the end

londonthanguk, a connection from line-out of your minidisc to line-in at your pc plus some recording software is all you need. jet audio (http://www.jetaudio.com) should do the job, although i have not tested the recording function.
i recommend a 64kbps mp3 (joint stereo) setting for the files. 10 minutes of sound will result in 5mb file size with these settings. you can upload a max file size of 8mb which means 16 min.
any more information needed?
