Hey all,
Just curious for an update on how things are going in mod-town really. I have new stuff ready to go here (new neighbours) but having read the account of the death of the last board I'm hesitant to upload stuff at the moment. My thinking is that if we're not far from having new disclaimers/rules or whatever else to follow I'd rather wait and check I won't be contributing to another downfall. Seems overly cautious perhaps, but I see the community getting back on it's feet given time and wouldn't want to do anything to screw that up.
Cheers

Scott, you are right. I am working on the Rules/Terms of Use right now.

Re: wondering whether to upload at the moment
Frankly I think we should just carry on as normal, with one important but possibly contentious difference. Where the content and provenance of a file may be open to question by spoilsports perhaps we should say nothing, or indeed 'make it up'. It will then be up to the spoilsport(s) to prove its provenance which will be very likely both of no interest and impossible to achieve anyway.
No admins need give an opinion on this, but if you do...please tell me I am a terrible person and you will never ever do anything like that...
...and then do it anyway
