Interesting discussion - somehow it is not right hat you have to pay to get to the archives if you have contributed over time with many uploads and comments. For my own part I have contributed with many recordings over time, but have stopped working and don’t travel very much now, so I don’t have new recordings to provide. But I have been a member for many years and still contribute with many comments (more tha 800) and still I have to pay to get access to the archives. Somehow I don’t think that is fair.

Maybe this wouldn´t be fair but it is not the whole truth, DaneCopenhagen. You had free archive access for three years until you went quiet for some time. Free archive access ends when activity seems to have ended. Yes you have become active again and yes, you´d probably would gain free access again. But once your free membership ended, you´d need to ask again .
Zander89 0n the contrary didn´t meet the standards of the Elders when he requested for the first time as he had not "contributed over time with many uploads and comments" then.
You are right, @yeppie I had a very quiet period for a couple of years due to job changes, so I don’t question that and I haven’t applied for access to the archives since, but maybe there could be an opening now. I would very much appreciate that after more than 10 years here, so please let the elders consider that. Have a great day!
