Hi, I decided to change my naming style to month/year instead of just a number count. Of course, I can't promise that I'll be able to record something every month. Anyway, here are my latest captures.

The first couple was 35-40 years old. She had long brown hair, nicely curved body. The guy was bald, short beard, glasses, average build. They played music.

I didn't see this couple but they sounded young. I only caught the last thirty seconds.

Fine looking couple, both around 20 years old, light brown skin, a bit shorter than average. The girl was slim, wearing a hoodie, pretty face, full luscious lips. The guy had shaved black hair and moustache. I heard them on two occasions. I used my Sony recorder the first time and my Olympus the second time.

Yeah, file-naming is something I didn't get right from the start and have never been happy with.
But I'm kind of stuck with my system now, so that's that, I guess.

Perhaps the forum should have a thread called "Advice for naming sound files for new members"? Mind you, any method
is better than the default "REC01", "RECORDING_001", etc. filenames produced by the devices. It's much better
when these at least are changed. The archives then look tidier, less confusing and less of a struggle to find certain
sounds.

how is your Sony as compared to Olympus?

Well, you can listen to the files and compare for yourself. As you know, I wrote a comparison in the hardware forum (New Recorder Suggestions). This time I turned off "Focused mode" and I think it works well when the surroundings are quiet. I'm happy with the result this time.

I don't know if anyone noticed, but my recent Olympus recordings had some strange artifacts (some kind of interference with Bluetooth maybe?). I've now reset the settings and I think I got rid of them. Olympus is still my favourite recorder.

Same here, I'm lousy at coming up with good names. I considered to put all files under a single topic and just update the title when new files are added. I don't post too often though so I hope you don't think I'm flooding the forum. I quite like when the files can be found at the beginning. I think that way it should be fairly easy to find the archived files that corresponds to my topic titles. Of course, now that I changed the style of naming it will be inconsistent with the old files. Maybe yeppie will split my files into different folders. I noticed that he did that sometimes.

One of the best, if the not the best so far in 2023. Plus from the description they sound like a fresh couple. So love is in the air

He did so in your archive folder beginning with 2023 ... there were way too many files for keeping them in a single folder!
