1- Take a mp3 voice recorder and put in on the floor or on the furniture under light clothes and push the record button and go. Almost all mp3 record can record more than 4 hours non-stop.
2- If your afraid to be recognize, you dont have to be, there's peoples from eveywhere here and certainly not from your town. Almost 7000 members for millions and millions peoples around the world!!!
2.1 - take a free software like audacity to easy edit tour file, trim, cut, blur the voice etc.
3- Imagine a story like: this is a recording of my roomate i hide a mp3 recorder in her room or a file a find on youtube or a file from my roomate pc.
4- Or just say nothing ... just edit and post..

1.1. To add to this - put the records in a pair of board shorts, or jacket (or similar) with a netted pocket. It protects the recorder from view, still gives great sound, and a person would have to pick up your shorts and go through your pockets to find it. (shorts with a zipped pocket are even better).
1.2. You could put some notes on the start of the recording like you're planning a trip or recipe or anything, then even if they do go through your pockets and find it, you can thank them as you thought you'd 'lost it'. You can even play them the start of the file and it will all seem pretty innocent.
It's so much safer than leaving it obviously hidden. With the right batteries you can record for up to 3-4 days on some recorders. But try to use a higher quality setting. There's no magic way to make a bad recording better.
