Which app for my Galaxy Note2 ?

Post by Tom41 »

Hi

Hearing my neighbours having sex twice a week .
Recorded them 3 times, but there is a lot of schschschsch in it .
Using Recforge for recording, not sure to choose rear mic or front .
Record level is as much as loud .

Any ideas for better results ???

I'm also using the Galaxy Note, and there's one piece of software you'll ever need: TapeMachine from Samalyse. You'll find it on Google Play. It records both in full PCM (wav, CD quality) and all MP3 bitrate imaginable.
It has auto-gain, the recording quality is superb (check out my contributions to this forum) AND (most important): with TapeMachine you'll have a full editing suite on your Note, with effects as Normalize etc.!!

Best app I ever downloaded.

I'm using Hi-Q MP3 Recorder for Android. It encodes in MP3 and did an excellent job for me so far.

Thanks for the recommendation. I bought TapeMachine for my HTC OneX (Android) but the recording level is so low even with amplifying. I tested a few tools and for my device RecForgePro works best so far.

Just try with which you get the best result. On my Note1, it only allows me to pick from 1 mic, so that's easy :-)
The recording level is very high, so all details are loud and clear.
