Mark's files
I've noticed there haven't been any of Mark's files posted in a long time. If anyone has any of his unedited files that they're willing to share, I'd be willing to try my hand at editing them for posting. I've never edited a file before, but I'd like to give it a try.

As far as I can say, Mark sent out a lot of his unedited files to those who offered help but to his disappointment only one or two files have arrived here.
I offered my assistance too after he told me about this result but I guess it was too late for him to sent any before he travelled.
From time to time, Mark visits the community from abroad - any answers on this, Mark?

Hello all from Florida.... haven't had a chance to really visit the board since early January. Sorry about not having a chance to send you my material yet Yeppie... I will try and find a post office around Mar 1st, when we pull back into a town that I am a bit more familiar with.
Our schedule is a bit varied.. but I will try and check the boards around once a month or so if i can. As for my 'unposted' material.... If i remember correctly.. i sent 8 files or so out around the beginning of the year to: (4 individuals...who i wont post their names but they know who they are).... who all eagerly wanted to 'help' me..... and have not heard anything from them since. For this reason... I am a bit reluctant to send out any more files for 'editing' The only files I could really transfer with no hassle are all my Thailand series (around 20 or so).... the others (all videos) I encoded to DVD and will have to rip the audio off of them once I get settled in somewhere (probably around feb-mar 2008).
The reason I asked for 'help' was 2-fold.... 1) I did not want to 'flood' the board with all my Thailand posts at once... which... if I did the MP3 encoding, I probably would have as I like to do them all at once and get them done. The 2nd) is that I thought it would be a good chance for those without any material to 'participate' in the group... unfortunately... it did not turn out so well and both the group and myself were hurt. So, in the future, I do not think I will solicit any more help in encoding my files and will just stick to doing it myself.
