This is how I got hooked on listening to people having sex in motels. I was at a seminar in Nashville Tennessee a few years ago. There was a dinner and dance the last night. Back when I lived in town on occasion I would hear sex sounds in the summer time while out walking the dogs at night. Things are a lot different now. Back in the day, you did not want to be seen, um scouting out the hood or looking suspicious. Even more so after dark, and even more so if you are easily recognized. Even if you are the neighborhood perv you probably don't want to go advertising it.

However now, if I lived in town I would keep a USB recorder with me, on a keychain with old keys and if I heard anything I would "loose" my keys in the grass or hedges etc and go home for a while and than go back and try and "find" them. If anybody shows up, you have a good reason for being there. You recall reaching in your pocket to give your dog a treat around there and when you got home you realized your keys were missing. You wanted to go and find them right away because you have a USB stick on them and you did not want to loose that.

As an aside, back when laser pointers were pricey I had one on my key ring and I often pondered if I lost my keys, would that ensure that I would never ever get them back again, or would someone just rip the laser off and leave the keys behind? Or leave the whole thing alone? My guess was having too nice a key fob might hurt you ever getting your keys back, so looking for them right away would be a logical thing to do.

Thanks glad you enjoyed the story. I didn't even think of having a recorder or trying to record something at that time. I had herd little sounds here and their but never anything as clear and exciting as this. With people that I knew who they were in the next room.
