WIND which destroyed one other file beyond recovery.I call these two "Anal couple"
Situation:
I simply opened my door to have a smoke around 4am and heard, not the sound that we all recognize as that heart pumping first realization, but a sound that didn't fit with the stillness of the air but wasn't what I thought was sex at that point. I decided to step out a bit from my door and see if I can locate the noise, I see a ground floor window open two doors down from me (so my neighbors neighbor
) and got that heart pumping realization that it was a great opportunity.It was crazy windy that night/morning and I got really lucky with my mic placement the first two files (simply on the window ledge, angled in, thank god they didn't get cold and shut it breaking my phone in the process
), the window was extremely open but had a curtain drawn so allowed to me to get that placementIt turns out that the house is a student property and since whoever was actually was renting the room moved out very shortly after this, it went unoccupied with curtains open for year or so, so in passing I realized where the bed was and actually how close I really was to the couple in this situation. It could not have been more than 1.5 meters.
the couple were somewhat drunk from a night out but were pretty damn passionate and this is one of the only times I felt a little out of place listening to them in such a close manner when you can hear 'I love you's etc. However they give anal a go in file 3 & 4 and having been sat nearby but within arms reach of my phone in case of people walking up the street, you can imagine my face when I realised her "we can tryyyyy" was in relation to anal being suggested by the guy. He was constantly checking if she was okay and genuinely did not want to hurt her at all which I found really sweet.

This was recorded around early November 2015 and is another S3 capture before I had recorders, the mic on the S3 doesn't do the bed and thrusting impact justice, since it projected out into the street very well
also wind is an issue in files 3 and 4 especially be warned.Generally I've cut out some of the ear-killer wind and compressed any remaining undesirable noise to by a good 9ish db, then any moans that clip, bringing them down by about 3db so there's a little space to amplify the quieter parts.
